“In 2017, WFA research found that transparency, ad fraud, viewability and brand safety were advertisers’ top concerns about the online advertising ecosystem. Fast forward to 2019, these challenges remain but we are slowly making progress as an industry.
Launched in 2018, the WFA Global Media Charter sets out what advertisers think needs to change in digital media today and eight clear ‘Principles for Partnership’ designed to create a better, more balanced, online advertising ecosystem. Co-written by a number of global advertisers and national advertiser associations, it provides a global framework designed to inspire and support local action.
This is not a magic solution to all industry challenges, but it is a starting point. In this webinar, you will get a detailed overview of the Charter, the progress being made globally and what several national advertiser associations are doing locally to help make the measures outlined in the Charter a reality.”
